We wrote about Chocomize not realizing the importance of disturbance in the bespoke chocolate. After trying a sample of their products today at New York Tech day, however, I decided that this is probably the best start up worldwide, except one that lets you connect with friends and family and share photos and stuff. And that other one with the birds. That one is pretty good.
But what the heck does not like chocolate? The service allows you to build a chocolate bar and include various additional toppings including but not limited to m & Ms, chili, pretzels, small bits of metal *, crushed peppermint and rubbery. Shipping is $ 4.95 flat rate no matter how many bar orders and the company is now on sale in the United Kingdom for a flat rate $ 9.50.
Bars vary in price depending on the toppings included and scrap metal.
The site has been around since 2009 and is popular with the wedding and party as they allow you to create custom bars to wedding guests. Founded by graduates of Columbia Kaempfer Fabian, Nick LaCava and Eric Heinbockel, the service has really taken off since the launch and the founders still have a hand in the manufacture of chocolate. In short, it is a true artisan startups.
